The Schildhof "Ebion" is one of eleven farms in the Passeier Valley (Val Passiria), whose origins date back to a document from 1317, in which they were granted tax exemption for life in return for armed military service. They were also granted hunting and fishing rights for their own use to this day. The 110 m² apartment consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 3 bedrooms (one with 2 single beds and a bunk bed for 2 people) as well as one bathroom and an additional toilet and can therefore accommodate 8 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a fireplace, satellite television, a baby cot, a children’s bed and a highchair (all 3 on request). A cable car, which takes you to the tops of the high alpine Hirzer area with fantastic views over the valley is 7.3 km (an 11-minute drive) away, and the Meran 2000 skiing area is 19 km or a 28-minute drive away. You can also play golf at Golfclub Passeier, 4.8 km or a 9-minute drive away. The city of Merano (Meran), well-known for its spa resorts and architectural beauty, is located a 24-minute drive (16.5 km) from the farm and also invites you to go shopping or explore the many great restaurants serving local cuisine. South Tyrol’s capital Bolzano (Bozen) lies 48 km (a 55-minute drive) southeast of the apartment.
