This contemporary house/villa is in a quiet residential area in the centre of Reykjavík built in 2002 and designed by its architect owner. The part being rented out is a detached, i.e. separate guest house. The villa is located within 70 meters from the seafront and only 15 minutes walk from the bustling center where you will find The National Theatre, the main museums, art galleries, cinemas, coffee houses, restaurants, bars and the main shopping streets. The bustling center (Miðbær) is a 3 min bus ride away from the house but the bus stop is within 2 min walking distance from the house. The guest house is 76 m2 and is ideal for a couple or a family of four. The location offers fantastic walking and cycling routes along the sea front. There are two bicycles at the Guesthouse, free of charge for the guests. Within 15 minutes walk away there is a geothermal heated beach as well as swimming pools.
