Madrid's Tetuán district is incredibly diverse, making it ideal for newcomers to the city. The area is a contrast in old and new, with historic landmarks set beside modern high-rise apartment buildings or retail complexes. Tetuán is the setting for the city's tallest skyscraper, the iconic Gate of Europe twin office towers -- also called the KIO Towers.
