Positive: The Property is on a side of a hill and has absolutely stunning views and pool, its all very clean and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable for a family of four. The owners (Carole & Gin) have really thought of everything with the most beautiful plates, olive oil, coffee etc. Inflatables and speaker for the pool, the property also has 2 other rooms so you may end up with another 4 guests, most of the week we had the pool to ourselves when we was using it. There are two restaurants and a small supermarket that you can walk to and takes 5 minutes which is up some steps in San Lorenzo where you can also get the bus, Carole provided a bus timetable. Its bus 773 to get to Santa Margarita and takes about 5 minutes is 2 euros pp each way. To get to Portofino you need to get the 773 to Santa Margarita and change where the bus information hut is the bus is 782 and you can buy a 24 hour ticket for all 4 of us was 30 euros. You need to download the bus app and pay on the app, Carole will show you all this. This is the best way to get about as parking is hard and expensive We also walked from Santa Margarita to Portofino to the smaller beaches it took about an hour. We walked into Santa Margarita which takes about 25 minutes downhill, we got a taxi back which was 30 euros. The property is difficult to find if you are going by car but Villa Gnocchi is next door and has a sign on the main road which is good to look out for as we only used the car once and got lost and ended up trying to reverse from some steep hills. Gin will also meet you and guide you from the main road. We hired a ford focus and it is narrow to get to the property but we just drove really slow. It was a perfect holiday.

Negative: Its 20 euros per day to park at the property which i feel is too much and should be free. You can park in the main car park in San Lorenzo which I think is free. We thought it was 20 euros per day to pay in the car park and free at the property but its the other way round and we had to pay 140 euros for our stay.

Summary: Beautiful place, stunning views & pool, great hosts, almost perfect just beware about Parking.
