This 19th-century farmhouse is surrounded by vineyards. It is fantastic for those who would like to spend the time to themselves in almost complete privacy as there are no other houses nearby. In summer, the house remains very cool due to its very thick walls so no artificial air-conditioning is required. 4 of the bedrooms share a secluded terrace. The swimming pool area has five 100-year old olive trees. It is enclosed and can only be accessed through a door that can be locked. It is secluded from the rest of the courtyard which makes it very safe for families who have young children who want to play outside.

Our caretakers (a family with three children) live in a separate independent apartment on-site and are always available to show our guests how appliances work and satisfy your extra needs.

Summary: The house has wonderful possibilities but is not at all well cared for. There were dead plants in planters outside the home, the pool was not clean, the sheets, pillows, towels, mattresses and bedspreads were ancient, the freezer was tiny and basically unusable and there were very few fans in the home. We knew the house was not air conditioned, but we had wrongly assumed there would be fans, particularly in the bedrooms. I think there was 1. There is an outside grill, but it is so filthy that we had to buy cleaning supplies before we could use it and really scrubbed to make it usable for cooking. The location of the home was great for us and the people (caregivers?) that lived next door were nice and as helpful as they could be, but overall, we were sorely disappointed. We had 9 adults and one baby staying in the home and we were all taken aback at the lack of care and attention given to this property.
