Summary: We spent an amazing fortnight at Orto Paradiso. The property is in a stunning location on the hillside above Minori, a lovely little town on the Amalfi coast, which has everything you need without the crowds of the big names nearby. The people running the hotel are friendly and helpful, and the place feels very quiet and chilled, with beautiful views. The breakfasts are delicious, and the pool is the perfect size for a refreshing dip. We stayed in the superior quadruple which had enough space inside for a double bed, two single beds, a very handy kitchenette and bathroom. The airconditionning in the room works very well, but we spent most of our time out on the lovely large terrace outside the room which has two seating areas and fantastic views. The steps up to the property do require some effort, but are more than worth it for the incredible location. We walked to and from the seafront in Minori at least once a day, and managed fine, (taking 10-20 mins depending on whether we were going up or down), but there is a public bus which will take you just over half way (as close as you can get by road), if you prefer. Do take mosquito repellant - the rooms are surrounded by beautiful vegetation, and tmozzies like it too! We highly recommend this place!
